Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which Road Equipment Maintenance is carried out by the Land Transportation Management Center Region IV in Riau Province, especially the traffic and road transportation section. Evaluation research indicators used include, Input (Input), Process (Process), Output (Output) and Outcome (Impact). The method used is qualitative, namely interviews on research subjects. This research can be categorized as a descriptive survey, namely prioritizing a list of questionnaires and interviews as a data collection tool and the data that has been collected will be analyzed so that it will produce actual conditions. Evaluation is an examination of the implementation of a program that has been carried out and will be used to predict, calculate and control the implementation of the program in the future so that it will be much better. According to SofyanAssauri, "maintenance is an activity to maintain or maintain factory facilities/equipment and make necessary repairs or adjustments/replacements so that there is a satisfactory production operating condition in accordance with what is planned". Road equipment is a facility that is placed for safety, security, order and smooth traffic as well as convenience for road users in traffic.
