Abstract

With the development of information technology, attention to the level of security is increasingly important. One of them is data insertion security. Confidential data to be sent requires protection in order to be accepted by the target recipient. Increasing data security can be done by using steganography techniques. Steganography is a technique of hiding messages into digital media in the form of text, images, audio, and video. In this study, audio media with MP3 format were used to hide messages using the parity coding method and vigenere cipher encryption. The combination of the two methods will facilitate data security.
