Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the main effect and interaction of solid waste treatment (sludge) POC oil palm and herbfarm on the growth and production of pakcoy. This research was carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, starting from November 2019 to December 2019. This study used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of two factors. The first factor is oil palm sludge, which consists of 4 levels, namely doses of 0, 1.5, 2 and 2.5 kg/plot. While the second factor was POC herbfarm which consisted of 4 levels, namely concentrations of 0, 2, 4, and 6 cc/liter of water with 3 replications, so that there were 16 treatment combinations, so there were 48 experimental units. Each unit consisted of 4 plants, and 2 of them were sample plants, so the total number of plants was 192 stems. Observation parameters consisted of 7, namely plant height, number of leaves, wet weight, dry weight, and wet weight. The results of the observations were analyzed for variance, then further tested for honest real difference (BNJ) 0 at 0 level 05%. The results of the study concluded0that0The interaction of solid waste treatment (sluge)0 and herbfarm POC affected the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, economic wet weight, dry weight and root volume. The best treatment for palm oil solid waste fertilizer (sludge) 2.5 kg / plot and POC herbfarm with a concentration of 4 cc / liter of water. The main effect of giving treatment for palm oil solid waste (sludge) was real on all observed parameters, the best treatment was on oil palm solid waste (sludge) 2.5 kg/plant. The main effect of herbfarm POC was real on all observed parameters, the best treatment was herbfarm POC with a concentration of 4 cc / liter of water.
