Abstract

This research has been carried out in the experimental gardens of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University for four months from March to June 2018. The aim of the study was to determine the interaction and main effects of vermicompost fertilizer and superior plant hormones on the growth and production of honey pumpkin. The design used in this study was a Factorial Completely Randomized Design consisting of two factors. The first factor was Kascing (K) with doses of 180, 360, 540 and 720 g / plant, while the second factor was Superior Plant Hormone (H) with concentrations of 1, 2, 3 and 4 ml / l water. The parameters observed were flowering age, number of male flowers, number of female flowers, percentage of flowers to fruit, age of harvest, number of fruits per plant, weight of fruit per fruit and weight of fruit per plant. The last observation data were analyzed statistically and continued with a BNJ follow-up test at the level of 5%. The results showed that the interaction of vermicompost fertilizer and superior plant hormones had a significant effect on flowering age, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, weight of fruit per fruit and weight of fruit per plant. The best treatment of vermicompost fertilizer is 720 g / plant and superior plant hormone 4 ml / l water (K4H3). The main effect of real vermicompost fertilizer on all parameters. The best treatment for fertilizer is vermicompost 720 g / plant (K4). The main effect of plant hormones is superior to all parameters. The best treatment is giving the plant hormone superior 4 ml / l water (H4).
