Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce devicesof Mathematicslearning devices in the form of Learning Implementation Plans andStudent Activity Sheets based on Riau's Melayu weaving motives with the Realistic Mathematics Approach in Junior High Schools that are valid and practical. The development of learning devices in this study uses development or R & D methods using the Plomp model, namely: 1) initial investigation, 2) design, 3) construction and 4) tests, revisions and evaluations. The research data collection instruments were RPP validation sheets, LKPD validation sheets, teacher response questionnaires, student response questionnaires and learning implementation sheets. Data collection techniques used were validation data from 2 FKIP UIR Mathematics Education Lecturers and 1 mathematics teacher at SMP Negeri 6 Pekanbaru, teacher response questionnaire data, student response questionnaire and learning implementation sheet. The analysis technique used is the analysis of validation data and practicality data. This product trial was carried out in class VII.2 of SMPN 6 Pekanbaru with 39 students. From the results of the study, the results of RPP validation were 86.07% with very valid categories and 90.09% LKPD with very valid categories. The results of RPP 89.28% practicality with a very practical category, which was obtained from the teacher's response questionnaire, the practicality of 76.44% LKPD with practical categories obtained from the questionnaire responses of students and the practicality of learning implementation 93.74% with very practical categories. from the learning implementation questionnaire. Based on this study,mathematical learning tools based on the Malayu woven motives of Riau with the Realistic Mathematics Approachin junior high schools were valid and practical. So that the learning device can be diagnosed as a valid and practical device for use in class.
