Abstract
This study aims to determine pedagogical competence based on the Minister of National Education Regulation No. 16 of 2007 which is owned by a science teacher in SMP Negeri 6 Siak Hulu. This research uses survey method, the collection of research data through primary data sources seen from the process in the form of questionnaire results and observation results, also supplemented with secondary data sources seen from evidence in the form of documentation data and interview results. Subjects in this study were all science teachers in SMP Negeri 6 Siak Hulu, amounting to 2 people. This research uses saturation sampling(saturation sampling). Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the average results obtained by the percentage ofquestionnairesTeacher 1 (G1)andTeacher 2 (G2)of 84.81% can be categorized Competent. Andbased on the results of the average percentage of observation sheetsTeacher 1 (G1)andTeacher 2(G2)of 83% can be categorized as competent.
