Abstract

This research was conducted in Batang Cenaku sub-district, with a survey method for sampling farmers, using the Multi Stage Sampling method. The results showed that: (1) (a) the age of farmers, agro-industry actors and traders were in old age. (b) The respondent's education level is low (c) The farming experience has a high category (2) the provision of production facilities for fertilizers in terms of price is not right. (3) the application of paddy gogo cultivation technology is appropriate except for the use of fertilizers which are still below the recommended dosage. (4) Efficiency of 1,73 which means paddy gogo farming is feasible to be developed. The marketing efficiency of paddy gogo is already efficient, which is 19,0 % with farmer's share of 43,3%. The implications of agribusiness policies, assistance for certified superior seeds, fertilizers and agricultural machinery are expected by respondents in order to increase their farming production.
