Abstract
This research was conducted in Rumbai District and Pekanbaru Rumbai Pesisir District. The object of this research is rattan handicraft entrepreneurs. The purpose of this study was to analyze the suitability of the application of accounting in rattan handicraft businesses in Rumbai District and Rumbai Pesisir District. The study was conducted on all rattan handicraft businesses in Pekanbaru city which amounted to 30 businesses. Techniques for collecting data using interviews and documentation. The data needed are primary data and secondary data. The technique of collecting data uses interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the Application of Accounting in Rattan Craft Businesses in Rumbai District and Rumbai Pesisir District is not in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting.
