Abstract

AR (Augmented Reality) is a technology that integrates 2D or 3D virtual objects into a real environment and then projects these virtual objects into reality in real-time. Augmented reality can be applied to all senses, including hearing, touch, and smell. Besides being used in various fields such as health care, military, manufacturing, Augmented Reality is also very useful in the field of education. Augmented Reality application that is built based on android, where the camera works as an input source by reading and tracking data with a tracking system. Biology is a science that studies all aspects of life. Biology plays a very important role in everyday life. That's why we need to study biology, especially in the cell. Biology can also see with AR (Augmented Reality) in the learning system, because it can help students to understand or see forms of small and simple life in 3D in an application, because learning is still done manually using images and shapes that are rather difficult to reach. the students. With the Augmented Reality application the shape of cells in animals is expected to help learning about the shape of animal cells. Based on application testing to users, the percentage index obtained is 94%, so it can be implemented as a learning medium for animal cell forms in junior high schools.
