Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the effect of work competence and career development on work performance at PT. Agung Automall SM. Amen Pekanbaru. The population in this study were 58 respondents, the sample was taken using the probability sampling technique with the census method, so that the sample used was 58 respondents. The research data were obtained from questionnaires (primary), literature studies and direct interviews with related parties according to the research objectives. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression test, f test and determination. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with data processing using SEM PLS 3.0. The results of this study indicate that work competence has a positive effect on the construct of work performance at PT. Agung Automall Sm. Amin Pekanbaru, then career development has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Agung Automall Sm. Amen Pekanbaru. then Competency and Career Development have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at PT. Agung Automall Sm. Amin Pekanbaru, but the influence between variables on behavior is weak. This is evidenced by the value of r Square and Each variable shows the results of a positive and significant influence on work performance at PT. Agung Automall SM. Amen Pekanbaru.
