Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the interaction and main effect of Padang Restaurant Waste and Paper Ash on Temulawak Plants. This research has been carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution Km 11 No. 113, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. This research was conducted for 6 months starting from January to June 2022. The design used in this study was a completely randomized factorial design consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is the dose of Padang Restaurant Waste (L) consisting of 4 levels, namely 0, 8,000, 12,000 and 16,000 ml/polybag and the second factor is the dose of Paper Ash (A) consisting of 4 levels, namely 0, 6, 12, 18 g/polybag. , each treatment consisted of 3 replicates so that 48 experimental units were obtained. In the experimental unit there were 6 plants and 2 were used as observation samples taken randomly so that 288 plants were obtained. If the calculated F is greater than the F table, then the further test of the honest significant difference (BNJ) is continued at the 5% level. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it is concluded that the interaction between Padang Restaurant Waste and Abu Kertas has an effect on the relative growth rate of 40-70 days after planting, net assimilation rate, plant height, number of leaves, simplicia weight and wet rhizome weight per clump. Where is the best treatment for Padang Restaurant Waste 1000 ml/polybag and Paper Ash 18 g/polybag. The main effect of Padang Restaurant Waste affects all observation parameters. The best treatment is Padang Restaurant Waste 1000 ml/polybag. The main effect of Paper Ash affects all observation parameters. Best treatment Ash Paper 18 g/polybag.
