Abstract

The condition of the Alam Mayang Recreation Park tourism object so far is still far from expectations. This can be seen from the decrease in the number of tourists visiting the Alam Mayang Recreation Park which should deserve serious attention because it is one of the benchmarks for the discrepancy between tourist demand and the availability of existing tourist attractions. The purpose of this study was to determine the handling of tourist attractions in the Alam Mayang Recreation Park in accordance with the wishes of tourists. The method used in this research is qualitative and quantitative using a deductive approach. Data collection techniques in this study used primary and secondary data, which were obtained through observation, questionnaires and documentation. The analysis technique used is a Likert scale with the research subject being visitors to the Alam Mayang Recreation Park with a sample of 100 visitors. The results of this study indicate that there is a mismatch between supply and demand in several tourist attractions and supporting facilities/infrastructure at Alam Mayang Recreation Park. There is a mismatch between supply and demand in 5 out of 6 types of natural attractions, 2 out of 3 types of cultural attractions, 7 out of 14 human attractions and 16 out of 21 types of supporting infrastructure at Alam Mayang Recreation Park. According to tourists, besides wanting to improve the quality of tourist attractions and existing facilities/infrastructure, tourists also want new attractions and facilities/infrastructure, namely Natural Attractions, including: bird park, animal mounts (elephant, horse), flower park. Human attractions, namely automotive sports, theme parks. Supporting facilities, namely closed entertainment stage, floating cafeteria/restaurant, guard area, waste facility, traffic park, mini train and tourism police post.
