Abstract

Growt hormone is a polypeptide consisting of 22 kDa single chain amino acid sequence produced by the pituitari gland whith pleio tropic function in every vertebrate animal. GH function to regulate growth, reproduction, the immune system, and regulate osmotic pressure in teleostei, and regulate metabolism. The study was conducted for 60 days, from mid-June to August 2019. Torsoro fish (Tor sorro C.V) has a very slow growth genetic trait, therefore research needs to be done using growth hormone.Researchers carried out by oral method through commercial feed with different hormone doses. the dose used is 1 mg / kg of feed, 2 mg / kg of feed, 3mg / kg of feed 4 mg / 1kg of feed and without being treated as a control.the dose used is 1 mg / kg of feed, 2 mg / kg of feed, 3mg / kg of feed 4 mg / kg of feed and without being treated as a control. the results showed the treatment with a dose of 3 mg / kg of feed was the best result with an average growth of an absolute weight of 27.00 gr, an average absolute length of 3.76 cm, an average daily growth rate of 1.07%, and an average average use of conversions is 6.01, while the survival rate shows no real difference.
