Abstract

This research was aimed to anylisis: 1) entrepreneur characteristic, labor, and business profile, 2) the using of production factor, production, production, production expenses, income, efficiency and additional value of salted fish agroindustrial, 3) The marketing of salted fish in West Bagan urban village. The method of this research was survey method. This research was conducted for 6 months starting from January 2022 to June 2022. Respondents of this research were 3 entrepreneurs, 9 workers, 2 agents and 3 retailers. The data used were sourced from primary data and secondary data. Data were analyzed descriptively, qualitatively, and quantitatively, value added analysis using the Hayami method. The result of this reserch showed that : 1) Characteristics of respondents were in productive age, relatively moderate level of education, average business experience was quite experienced, number of dependents in the family including medium and small households. Salted fish agro-industry business has been carried out for generations and was included in the small scale business with a total workforce of 9 people per each entrepreneur, having a total capital of Rp. 17,620,674 and 9 labors. 2) production factors analysis of salted fish agroindustry consists of a simple salted fish production process, the average amount of raw material for Duri fish was 125 kg, gulama batu fish was 250 kg and gulama samge fish was 96 kg per production process and the use of Duri salted fish labor was 1.54 HOK, gulama batu salted fish was 3.53 HOK, gulama samge salted fish was 1.44 HOK. The average production cost of Duri salted fish was Rp. 899.364/production process, net income was Rp. 401.363 and the efficiency of salted fish was 1.45, the average production cost of Gulama Batu salted fish was Rp. 1,423,114, the net income of gulama batu salted fish was Rp.976.886 and the efficiency of gulama batu salted fish was 1.69. Meanwhile, for gulama samge salted fish the average production cost was Rp. 970.864 with the net income Rp. 169.136 and the efficiency was 1,17. The added value obtained from Duri salted fish agroindustry was Rp. 4,504/kg, gulama batu salted fish was Rp. 4,752/kg, Gulama Samge salted fish was Rp. 3,541.67/kg. 3) marketing costs in channel I for Duri salted fish worth Rp. 1,495.83/kg, Gulama Batu salted fish worth Rp. 1,249.76/kg and Gulama Samge salted fish worth Rp. 1,588,82/kg. In marketing channel II, the marketing cost of Duri salted fish was Rp. 500.00/kg, gulama batu salted fish and gulama samge were both Rp. 181.23/kg. Meanwhile, in the third marketing channel, it was directly consumed by consumers so that marketing costs were in the form of transportation costs.
