Abstract

Aisyah is a overal good model. Her character and daily life can be the guidelines for character education which is not used overall as a guideline for character in life so far. Through the book of Sayyidah Aisyah Ummul Mukminin, her character values can be learned by understanding her life's journey. In accordance with this background, the problem that can be formulated is: what are the values of character education in the book of Sayyidah Aisyah Ummul Mukminin. While the study aims to find out the values of character education reflected in the life of Aisyah through the book of Sayyidah Aisyah Ummul Mukminin. The results of this study can be useful theoretically, namely: to add insight from the character education, meanwhile practically, namely: to increase the love for Aisyah and the God’s mercy, to recorrect the pattern of character education that is in accordance with Islamic sharia and to increase the effectiveness of education in social life. The research method used was library research and its type is qualitative. While the data collection used was analysis method. The data analysis used in this study was Content Analysis, the result of this study shows that the values of character education in the book entitled" Sayyidah Aisyah Ummul Mukminin" by Syekh Abdul Hamid Mahmud Thahmaz are religious value, honest value, hard work value, peace love value, social care value, and responsibility value.
