Abstract

Contribution of Limb Muscle Explosive Power and Balance to Sickle Kick Speed Warga Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate Ranting Siak The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of leg muscle explosive power and balance to the speed of the sickle kick warga persaudaraan setia hati terate ranting siak. This type of research is correlational research. The population in this study were 15 people who were loyal to the faithful heart of the Terate Branch of Siak. The sample in this study was the members of the Siak Branch faithful fraternity, totaling 15 people. The instruments of this research are the Vertical Jump Test, the Stork Standing Balance Test and the speed of the sickle kick. The conclusions in this study are: 1) there is no contribution of leg muscle explosive power to the speed of the sickle kick, the contribution is only 15,52%. 2) There is no balance contribution to the speed of the sickle kick, the contribution is only 2,19%. 3) There is no contribution of leg muscle explosive power and balance to the speed of the sickle kick warga persaudaraan setia hati terate ranting siak its contribution is only 21,34%.
