Abstract

This research was motivated by the importance of morals learning in forming students’ akhlaq al Karimah. The forming of students’ akhlaq al karimah is very crucial in Islamic religion education due to become one of the materials that must be achieved and implemented in daily lives. The symptoms can be seen from students who did not discipline that can be seen from the late of students when the learning began. Messy in dressing, it can be seen from direct observation in the field and supported by interview from interviewer. To students who did not do the task , it can be proof from the data that can be seen from the low score of students morals subject. While for students who did not do dhuha prayer and lazy to memorize Quran can be proved with attendance of the particular schedule prayer that held by picket teacher and direct observation. The formulation of problem in this research is there any effect of morals learning in forming students’ akhlaq al karimah of eight year students at Islamic Junior high school Jami Mandau Bengkalis Regency. The purpose in this research was to find out the effect of morals learning in forming students’ akhlaq al karimah of eight year students at Islamic Junior high school Jami Mandau Bengkalis Regency. Subjects that used in this research were all eight year students. Populations in this research were students at Islamic junior high school Jami Mandau that consisted of 100 students and samples were 87 students. This research consisted of two variables, namely X variable (Morals learning) and Y variable (akhlaq al karimah). Analysis correlation method that used in this research was simple regression. Based on the simple regression, it obtained significant value was less than 0.05, namely 0.000<0.05, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. There is significant effect of morals learning in forming students’ akhlaq al karimah of eight year students at Islamic Junior high school Jami Mandau Bengkalis Regency. The level of effect between X variable (morals learning) and Y variable (akhlaq al karimah) was 0.889 placed in the range 0.80-1.000 namely very strong. Thus, it means there is significant effect of morals learning in forming students’ akhlaq al karimah of eight year students at Islamic Junior high school Jami Mandau Bengkalis Regency with categorized in to strong effect.
