Abstract

This research was conducted in Bengkalis Regency, precisely at National Zakat Board, Bengkalis Regency. The purpose of this research is to determine amount of income of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) before and channeling zakat funds by National Zakat Agency Bengkalis Regency and also to determine the role of zakat fund distribution by the National Zakat Agency to increase income of Small and Medium Enterprises (UMK). The type of data used in this research is secondary data in the form of annual quantitative figures from 2018 to 2019 and source of this data is obtained directly from National Zakat Agency of Bengkalis Regency. This research also uses primary data, namely data on identity, total income, and other data obtained directly from respondents of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) who are given zakat funds by BAZNAS Bengkalis Regency. This research uses data analysis methods with the formula gross income, formula net income, and also the formula percentage increase in income. The results of this research: 1) known the average gross income and net income of MSEs before and after being given productive zakat funds by BAZNAS Bengkalis Regency Has increased. 2) The role of channeling productive zakat funds by BAZNAS Bengkalis Regency increasing income of Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Bengkalis Regency has a percentage of 66.53%.
