Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that affect financial distress in Islamic insurance in Indonesia. The population and sample in this study were 7 insurers registered with the Financial Services Authority in Indonesia with a purposive sampling method. This research was conducted using descriptive and quantitative methods. Based on the research results, it is known that the variable Return On Asset (ROA) has a significant effect on financial distress, while the variable Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non-Performing Loans (NPL) and Loan to Deposit Ratio have no significant effect on financial distress.
