Abstract
ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to determine whether the application of accounting is carried out in the groceries business in Bangkinang District, Kampar City, based on basic accounting concepts.This type of research is a qualitative method. The data sources come from primary and secondary data. Methods of data collection using questionnaires, interviews, documentation and observation. Data analysis using descriptive method.Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the bookkeeping carried out by the groceries business in Bangkinang District, Kampar Regency, is not in accordance with the basic concept of accounting
