Abstract

Society is inseparable from greeting, because reprimanding is an absolute thing in daily life. Reprimanding greetings not only aims to get to know each other but also to strengthen the relationship between fellow members of society as bases in socializing and polite way of a society. The greetings referred to in this study are a number of greetings used by the people of Bengkolansalak Village in Javanese to greet someone both in a kinship environment and non-kinship environment. The formulation of the problem in this study is (1) How is the greeting of kinship in Javanese in Bengkolansalak Village, Pendalian IV Koto District, Rokan Hulu Regency? (2) How is the non-kinship greeting in Javanese in Bengkolansalak Village, Pendalian IV Koto District, Rokan Hulu Regency ?. The purpose of this study is (1) to describe, analyze, interpret about Sapaan in Javanese in Bengkolansalak Village District Pendalian IV Koto Rokan Hulu Regency, (2) to describe, analyze, interpret and summarize about Sapaan in Javanese in Bengkolansalak Subdistrict Village Control IV Koto Rokan Hulu Regency. The theories used are the theories of Mahmud (2003), Syafyahya (2000), Abdul Chaer (2010), and Mahsun (2013). Sampling in this study uses the full sample technique in accordance with the opinion of Hamid (2014) 'all populations can be sampled'. The techniques used are observation, interview, recording, and recording. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data that the author obtained from the results of these observations and recordings amounted to 41 data. The conclusion of this study is the kinship greetings consisting of family environment greetings amounting to 16 words of greeting, marriage relationship greetings amounting to 10 words of greeting, and greetings according to age in the family number of 4 words of greeting. Javanese nonkekerabatan salutation in Bengkolansalak Village, Pendalian IV District Koto, Rokan Hulu Regency consists of community greetings amounting to 6 greetings and greetings according to the position / profession amounting to 5 greetings.
