Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to find out students' creative thinking skills in solving problems with the problem with the respiration system material in class XI MIA SMAN 2 Bukit Batu. This research is Descriptive research. The instrument used is a matter of higher order of thinking skill (HOTS) based on creative thinking indicators. The sample of this study is grade XI MIA 1 and XI MIA 2 SMAN 2 Bukit Batu. The results showed that creative thinking skills in grade XI MIA 1 and XI MIA 2 SMAN 2 Bukit Batu students in the category were sufficient with a percentage of 57.22%. From the indicator of creative thinking ability on the fluency indicator found an average percentage of 60.5% with sufficient categories, on the flexibility indicator found an average percentage of 62.2% with good categories, on the authenticity indicator found an average percentage of 44.6% with sufficient categories, while in the elaboration indicator found an average percentage of 61.6% with good categories.
