Abstract

EVALUATION OF POSTAL SERVICE PACKAGES AT JALAN SUDIRMAN POST OFFICE PEKANBARU CITY ABSTRACT BY : Muhammad Fadli Lufti Post Office services play a role in providing continuous service satisfaction to service recipients However, in reality there are still many people who are not satisfied with the achievement of fast and appropriate services. Of course, service delivery is guided by standard operating procedures in achieving service, but continuity of service is still not optimal. The purpose of this study was to determine postal parcel service at Jalan Sudirman Post Office, Pekanbaru City and to determine the inhibiting factors for postal package service at Jalan Sudirman Post Office, Pekanbaru City. The research method used is a quantitative method with data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The discussion of Postal Service Packages at Jalan Sudirman Post Office, Pekanbaru City has not been implemented based on standard operating procedures so that it has not achieved public satisfaction. Conclusion Implementation of parcel postal services at Jalan Sudirman Post Office, Pekanbaru City has been implemented but has not been implemented optimally according to standard operating procedures. starting from the completion of postal parcel delivery time, costing, and supporting service facilities. However, the authors suggest that Post Office employees increase the number of officers in providing services and collaborating with officers and providing service support facilities in order to achieve maximum service.
