Abstract

Implementation of Limb Muscle Explosive Power Training on Smash Skills of Volleyball Extracurricular Students at SMAN 1 Rupat Utara. The purpose of the research carried out is to find out the implementation of limb muscle explosive power training on the smash skills of volleyball extracurricular students at SMAN 1 Rupat Utara. This type of research is an experiment that aims to see the effect of giving treatment of limb muscle explosive power training on the smash skills of volleyball extracurricular students of SMAN 1 Rupat Utara. The population in this study were male students in extracurricular volleyball at SMAN 1 Rupat Utara, amounting to 12 people. Determination of the sample in this study was done by sampling technique that is all the population used as a sample of all. The instrument used in this study was a pree test and a post test which was conducted to see the students' smash skills before being given treatment and after being given treatment. Based on the results of research as evidenced by data analysis with the t-test technique, it can be concluded that, there are several of the total students who have the influence of limb muscle explosive power training. With a comparison of the value of tcount < t table or 0.096 < 2.20, which means that the explosive power of the leg muscles affects the smash skills of the volleyball extracurricular students of SMAN 1 Rupat Utara.
