Abstract

This research was a correlation quantitative research. This research was motivated by lack of students’ moral. The problem focused on was there any influence of students’ interaction on moral building at Islamic junior high school Yapimu Genduang village Pangkalan Lesung sub-district Pelalawan Riau. The purpose in this research examined to know the influence of students’ interaction on moral building at Islamic junior high school Yapimu Genduang village Pangkalan Lesung sub-district Pelalawan Riau. The subject was all class VIII students at Islamic junior high school Yapimu in 35 students. This research consisted of two variables, that was students’ interaction (variable X) and moral building (variable Y). This research finding showed that there was any influence of students’ interaction on moral building. It could be seen from data computation by using IBM SPSS statistic 22 for windows that simple regression analysis got significant score smaller than 0.05 where 0.000 < 0.05. the hypothesis about the influence of students’ interaction on moral building at Islamic junior high school Yapimu Genduang village Pangkalan Lesung sub-district Pelalawan Riau was accepted. The influence between students’ interaction (variable X) had contribution in 100% on students’ moral building (variable Y). It meant that the influence of students’ interaction on moral building at Islamic junior high school Yapimu Genduang village Pangkalan Lesung sub-district Pelalawan Riau was in “very strong” category.
