Abstract

This study was conducted to find out how to manage anxiety uncertainty in communication with the SM_NCT account follower media. Anxiety uncertainty can be formed due to differences in background between one another. The hypothesis in this study is that being a follower of the SM_NCT account can manage anxiety uncertainty in communicating. This study uses a descriptive quantitative research method with a questionnaire as a research instrument with a Likert scale. The population in this study were followers of the SM_NCT account and the number of samples used was 100 respondents. Based on the research that has been done, it is found that the management of anxiety uncertainty in communication gets a total score of 72.25% which can be categorized as good. The results of the study found that SM_NCT account followers can manage anxiety uncertainty in communicating by applying self-concept, interaction motivation, reactions to strangers, social categories, situational processes, connections with strangers, and ethics interacting.
