Abstract

The foundation is a part that must exist in the construction of bridges,building ,dams and roads. the stability factor against collapse due to exceeding the bearing capacity of the foundation is a requirement that must be met in foundation planning. In this project, the development is carried out by calculating the settlement of the foundation for group piles and single piles number 7 and number 25 using the static method and the 2D finite element method and then comparing the results of the settlement with the results of the PDA test in the field, to find out the settlement that occurs meets the permitted requirements. The analytical method used is a quantitative. Secondary data collection is N-SPT data, PDA test results and images of overpass structures. This study recalculates the load of the structure by using a combination loading of SNI 1725- 2016, then calculates the reduction of the foundation both single piles and group piles. For settlement analysis of pile foundations using single pile elastic method and 2D finite element method and for settlement analysis of pile foundations using the Vesic method and 2D finite element method. The results of the single pile settlement analysis using the single pile elasticity method for piles number 7 and 25 were 29 mm, while the results of the analysis using the 2D finite element method for piles number 7 and 25 were 8,89 mm and 8,79 mm, From the results obtained, the pile settlement using the single pile elastic method and the 2D finite element method fulfills the permitted settlement.
