Abstract

ABSTRACT NEW PUBLIC SERVICE IN ISSUANCE OF POPULATION CARD (E-KTP) IN SELATPANJANG CITY, MERANTI ISLAMIC REGENCY.This research is motivated by the lack of services for people who take care of E-KTP. This study aims to find out the results and the inhibiting factors for services provided by the Department of Population and Civil Registration in the Meranti Islands Regency. The indicators of the E-KTP management service used include physical evidence, reliability and attitude. The research method located at the Office of Population and Civil Registration in the Meranti Islands Regency is quantitative descriptive because this research develops and uses mathematical models, theories and hypotheses related to natural phenomena New Public Service in Issuing Identity Cards (E). -KTP) in Selatpanjang City, Meranti Islands Regency. Quantitative descriptive research method is a systematic scientific research on the parts and phenomena and the causality of their relationships. The technique used to collect data in this research is Observation, Interview, Questionnaire, Documentation. Based on the analysis technique, the researcher researched and concluded that the E-KTP in the Straits City of the Meranti Islands Regency was of good length. Because it is seen based on the level of community satisfaction. Suggestions: The service should be carried out thoroughly with a contemporary concept in accordance with the times, such as using an application for registration, and more targets for E-KTP which are set not only 30 to 50 per day, and the waiting room is arranged as comfortably as possible, because waiting people need time long and the number is quite crowded so that people become comfortable.
