Abstract

ABSTRACT Agung Susti Dinata (144110143) The Effect of Restaurant Waste and Three Organic Compound (TOC) Fertilizer on Growth and Production of Mung Bean (Vigna radiata. L). This research has been carried out in Riau Young Farmers' experimental garden, Jalan Sialang Butut, Sialang Sakti Village, Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City for 3 months from October to December 2018. The aim of the study was to determine the interaction effect and the main effect of restaurant waste and fertilizer Three Organic Compound on the growth and production of green bean plants. The design used was a factorial completely randomized design consisting of two factors. The first factor is the concentration of restaurant waste, namely 0, 50, 100 and 150 g / 500 ml of water, while the second factor is the dosage of Three Organic Compound Fertilizer with doses of 0, 120, 240 and 360 g / plot. The parameters observed were relative growth rate, net assimilation rate, flowering age, number of effective nodules, harvesting age, number of pithy pods / plant, weight of dry seeds / plant, weight of 100 dry seeds. Observation data were analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ further test at the 5% level. The results of the research on the interaction of restaurant waste and TOC fertilizer significantly affected all observed parameters except the weight of 100 dry beans. The best treatment was the interaction of restaurant waste 150 g / 500 ml of water and TOC 360 g / plot. The main effect of restaurant waste is real on all observed parameters. The best treatment is 150 g / 500 ml of restaurant waste water. The main effect of TOC fertilizer was significant on all observed parameters. The best treatment was the TOC fertilizer dose of 360 g / plot.
