Abstract

The presence of law Number 6 Of 2014 concerning Villages is an opportunity for every Village to be able to develop every potential it has independently according to their respective needs in order to realize the welfare of their community without dependence on the Government and Regional Government. The study aims to find out and explain how the Village Government in Kampar District Kampar Regency in developing its Village Potential. Data collection in this study is based on qualitative methods, data and information collection based on interview, observations and documentation. The technique used is the Purposive Sampling Technique, namely determining informants based on specific criteria set by the researcher. With the result of this study, it can be seen that the Village Potential Manangement in each village has its own weaknesses and strengths, the Village Government in Kampar District, especially the Rumbio Village Government, Padang Mutung Village Government, and Koto Tibun Village Government always strives to maximize the potential of the Village owned. So that it can be useful for the village community.
