Abstract
The purpose of the study was to determine and analyze the influence of human resource competence on the motivation of the workforce of PT. Nusantara V Plantation, Sungai Pagar, Kampar Regency. This research was carried out with descriptive and quantitative methods using primary data and secondary data obtained through interviews or research questionnaires. Respondents taken were 61 employees used as research samples. From the research results, it is known that there is a significant and positive effect of the work competence variable on the work motivation variable at PT. Nusantara V Plantation, Sungai Pagar, Kampar Regency. This is evidenced by the results of the t-test which states t-count > t-table so that Ho is rejected.
