Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between running speed and agility on ball dribbling skills in soccer games for UIR Soccer School students. This type of research is correlational research. The population in this study were 15 students of UIR Soccer School. The sampling technique was total sampling, thus the number of samples was 15 people. The instruments used are 30 meter sprint test, dogging run test and soccer dribble test. The data analysis technique is product moment correlation and multiple correlation. The conclusions of this study are: 1) There is a relationship between running speed and dribbling skills of UIR Soccer School students with a percentage of 27.9%. 2) There is a relationship between agility and ball dribbling skills in soccer games for UIR Soccer School students with a percentage of 31.5%. 3) There is a relationship between running speed and agility to the ball dribbling ability in soccer games for UIR Soccer School students with a percentage of 56.1%.
