Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of Dicipline of Employees in the Education Office of theCity of Pekanbaru. Where Employee Discipline in measured by 6 indicators, namely : Purpose and Capability, Leader Example, Justice, Judgment, Penalty Sanction, Firmness. The formulation of the problem of this research is How is the Implementation of Employee Discipline in the Education Office of the City of Pekanbaru? The research method used is quantitative, where quantitative means that this research is using descriptive type which means that this research is conducted to determine the value of independent variables, either one or more without making comparisons or connecting between one variable with other variables. The sampling technique used in this study is for the leader to use census techniques, where the census is carried out by collecting data if all populatiton elements are invetigated one by one, while the employee uses a Purposive Sampling Technique, where this technique is done by taking sample members from the population carried out by considering certain things. The location of this research is the Pekanbaru Education Office. The population of this study was the Head of Office, Secretary, General an Civil Service Subdivision Head and Civil Servants Staff in the Pekanbaru City Education Office, amounting to 99 people.While this research sample amounted to 47 people. The type of data used is primary data collected trhough the process of filling out questionnaires and interviews and using secondary data such as documentation. This research was conducted with the aim to see how far the level of Dicipline that has been carried out of carried out. Because Dicipline is important to be able to become a good civil servant or ASN, who is able to worl in accordance with procedures or regulations so that if the Discipline is implemented then the work is completed on time and the services provided can also be faster, because the ASN or PNS works to provide maximum service to the community. The result of this study conclude that overall the Implementation of Employee Discipline in the Eduucation Office of the City of Pekanbaru is in the Firly Good category.
