Abstract

Additives are ingredients added to vehicle fuels n motorized, both gasoline engines and diesel engines . This causes good For gasoline and diesel engines, it dissolves perfectly in fuel, help saving fuel increases power , Besides that it can improve fuel, removes carbon deposits, increases octane and reduce levels of exhaust emissions . Aside from that, demand prospects consumer urgently require motorized vehicles with optimal engine performance and fuel efficient , the prospect of consumer demand for additive more and more increase in line with the increasing population, In this study, the addition of additives varies in the body material ar RON 88, RON fuel 88 pure and pure 92 RON against the SPE460 GP motoyama engine performance. RON 88 fuel. This study aims to analyze the effect the addition of additives varies per - tablets on RON 88 against fuel show k The work of the Motoyama SPE460GP engine . At RON 88 with the addition of substances additive 0.2 gram the torque value is greater that is 29.25 Nm, because of it more perfect combustion and cleaner combustion chamber so affect combustion, good combustion mend faster orong piston from TMA to TMB then produces high pressure and p enhances on the torque from the addition of additives 0 , 2 grams also affects more power much higher at 61.2 kW. So that it causes combustion in combustion chamber is stable or perfect so that specific fuel usage will be smaller (more economical) which is 0.015 kg / hour.kW. With an increase the heating value (LHV) affects combustion chamber better so the thermal efficiency men the rate is 87%.
