Abstract

The problem in this study was the contribution of explosive strength of limb muscles and the balance of the speed of the 100 meters sprint of high school student of senior high school 1 jungle across the downsream rokan district. The purpose of this study was conducted to determine wheteris contribution of limb muscle strength and balance to find out whether there was a contribution of explosive muscle leg power and balance to the speed of 100 meters sprint run off in senior high school grade XI students of 25 people in the down stream rokan district as many as 25 peaple. The number of samples in this study were 21 people because 4 peaple were unable to atted. The instrument used were a test of leg muscle explosive power, balance test. and 100 meters sprint test. . Data analysis using product moment correlation and find the contribution of each variabel using formula cooficient of determination. Based on the result of research conducted, it can be concluded that there is contribution of explosive muscle leg power and the balance to the 100 meters sprint of the senior high school students of grade 1 in the jungle across the downstream rokan district. Where there is a contribution of 15,5236%.
