Abstract

Research entitled "Concentration Test BAP and Various Explanatory Sources in Agarwood Micropropagation (In-Vitro Aquilaria malaccensis) has been carried out in the Laboratory Plant Biotechnology Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution, KM 11 No. 113, Marpoyan, Air Dingin Village, Bukit District Raya, Pekanbaru City. Implementation of research for 6 months from the month January to June 2018. The purpose of the study is to determine the effect of interactions and the main concentration of BAP and various explant sources in Micropropagation Agarwood plant. The design used in this study is Randomized Design Factorial fins consisting of 2 factors. First factor concentration of BAP (B) which consists of 4 levels of treatment namely 0, 0.5, 1 and 1.5 mg / l and the second factor Various sources of eksplan (A), namely roots, humps, books and leaves. The parameter observed is the percentage of explant life, the percentage of explants that form buds, age of explants began to form buds, number of shoots per explant. The results showed that the interactions of various concentrations of BAP and various explant sources do not have a significant effect on all parameters tested (percentage of explant life, percentage of explants forming shoots, age of explants forming buds, number of shoots per explant). Various BAP concentration shows a significant effect on percentage parameters life of explants, age of explants forming buds and number of shoots per explant with the best treatment is 1.5 mg / l BAP (B3). Various sources of explants shows a real effect on all parameters (percentage of life explants, the percentage of explants forming buds, the age of explants forming buds and number of shoots with the best treatment of book explants (E3).
