Abstract

This research was conducted in Bangkinang with a sample of 17 coffee producers. The purpose of this research is to determine the suitability of the accounting treatment of the Coffee Shop business in Bangkinang which is in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting. In completing this research, the researcher used a qualitative approach. The data collected in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques in the form of structured interviews, documentation, and observation. Furthermore, after the data is collected the data will be analyzed using descriptive methods. The conclusion of this study is that the application of accounting in the coffee shop business in Bangkinang is not in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting.
