Abstract

Based on a preliminary study at SMK Negeri 1 Perhentian Raja Kampar District that there are still some students who care low environment researchers found several phenomena in the field among others: (1) Still lack of self awareness of scout members towards garbage around the school (2) There are still a few students who are lacking maintain environmental cleanliness and do not understand in repairing environmental pollution ecosystem (3) There are still some students who are lacking able to develop a comfortable and clean and neat school environment (4) There is still a lack of student awareness in cleaning odorless student toilets unpleasant (5) There is still a lack of student awareness of growth ilalalang in the school environment. The formulation of the problem from this researcher is the Role of Scout Builders in Realizing Education Environmental Care Character For Students of SMK Negeri 1 Perhentian Raja Kampar Regency. This study aims to determine the role of coaches Scouts In Realizing Environmental Care Concern Character Education Students of SMK Negeri 1 Perhentian Raja Kampar Regency. This type of research is qualitative. To obtain data in this study, it is used Data collection techniques in the form of interviews and documentation, after the data obtained by analyzing data in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and Verify data and draw conclusions as follows: First, Trustees Scouts always provide program implementation to students for always preserve the environment at school, Second, Scout coach Designing scout extracurricular activities to hold each program week cleaning and maintaining the entire room and school environment. Third, Scout coaches always provide motivation and support to students to maintain neatness and environmental cleanliness in a way Don't cross out the desk and school walls. Fourth, Scout coaches always guide and provide facilities and infrastructure for scouting so participants carry out environmental hygiene activities in a sustainable manner. Fifth, Scout coaches always collaborate between teachers, students, and Wise in using water and energy. Sixth, Scout coaches always accept input and suggestions in fostering and guiding as a form cooperation between stakeholders of teachers, students, scout coaches and the community. Seventh, Scout coaches always give direction to students to maintain plants for greenery at school.
