Abstract

This research has been carried out in the experimental gardens of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau for three months (September to November 2018). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interactions and the main influences of various types of organic fertilizers and dosages of NPK 16:16:16 on growth and crop yield of mustard grass.The design used was a Factorial Completely Randomized Design consisting of two factors. The first factor was various types of organic fertilizers P (chicken manure, vermicompost, TASPU) with a dose of 50 g / plant while the second factor was NPK 16:16:16 N with doses of 2.5, 5.0 and 7.5 g / plant. The parameters observed were plant height (cm), number of plant leaves (strands), plant wet weight (g), root volume (cm3), plant biomassa (g), and root canopy ratio. The last observation data were analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ advanced test at the level of 5%. The results of this study concluded that the interaction of various types of organic fertilizers and dosages of NPK 16:16:16 had a significant effect on the number of leaves, plant wet weight, root volume, plant biomass, and root canopy ratio. The best treatment for organic fertilizer is vermicompost 50 g / plant and NPK 16:16:16 5.0 g / P2N2 plant dosage. The main effects on various types of real organic fertilizers on plant height, leaf number per plant, root volume, plant biomass, and root canopy ratio. The best treatment for organic fertilizer is vermicompost 50 g / plant P2. The main effect of NPK 16:16:16 dose was real on the number of leaves per plant, wet weight per plant, root volume, plant biomassa, and root canopy ratio. The best treatment at NPK 16:16:16 dosage 5.0 g / N2 plant.
