Abstract

The use of capital in a cooperative that is carried out efficiently will allow the cooperative to be able to obtain optimal results each year and directly provide maximum economic benefits. This study aims to identify the management, employees and members of KUD Jaya Makmur members and to analyze the economic efficiency of KUD Jaya Makmur. This research used survey methods and purposive sampling with a total sample of 32 people consisting of 3 administrators was 42 years, employees were 38.88 years, and members were 51.6 years. The average education level for administrators is 14 years, employees 12 years and members 9.45 years. The average management experince is 14.66 years, employees 11.55 years and members 16.5 years. The number of dependents of the family of the caretaker is 3 people, 3 employees and 4 members. The direct economic benefits from the business unit, FFB, loans, fertilizers, herbicides and waserda are Rp. 2,156,865,110 and an increase in 2018 of Rp. 2, 707, 453, 312. Economic efficiency of KUD Jaya Makmur with an average business capital turnover ratio of 16.09%, profit margin of 721.92%, direct economic profitability 123.29% and inderect economic profitability 123.27%, own capital profitability 123.29%, working capital turnover rate of 5.67 times and return on working capital 41.17 times.
