Abstract

Tebing Tinggi sub-district is an area of agro-industry enterprises sago production centers in Kepulauan Meranti. In this condition should employers can increase the production and productivity of agro-industry enterprises sago flour to gain more leverage. Generally, this study aimed to analyze the optimization effort Agroindustry corn starch processing product. Specifically, this study aims to: (1) determine the characteristics and profile of entrepreneurs, (2) analyzing the allocation of resources owned by entrepreneurs agro-products processing corn starch to achieve optimal conditions, (3) to analyze the degree of combination of business products agro-processed products of corn starch optimal, (4) to analyze the impact of changes in the resource and the coefficient of the objective function of the optimal conditions. The method used in this study is a survey method. To answer the purposes of this study were analyzed using descriptive statistics and analysis of linear programming. The results showed that entrepreneurs agroprocessed products of corn starch classified in the productive age with an average age of entrepreneurs noodles sago and sago rendang respectively 48 and 51 years, education is still low with the average length of education entrepreneurs noodles sago and sago rendang each 8 years and 6 years, but it has experienced in trying with an average experience of employers noodles sago and sago rendang respectively 11 years and 14 years later had an average of dependents businessman noodles sago and sago rendang each 5 4 souls and spirit. Profile agroindustry sago flour processed products included in household enterprises and small-scale enterprises, processing sago noodles using modern technology and sago spring still traditional rendang. Enterprises processed agro-products of corn starch has an average need for the use of corn starch feedstock per day to 58.3 kg and 48.8 kg of noodles sago for sago rendang, with HOK's labor 1.58 per day and sago sago noodle rendang 1.5 HOK daily, whereas the needs of the average working hours of labor for the noodles sago 9.50 hours per day and 12 hours per day rendang then the machine working hours 4.58 hours per day for noodle products sago rendang while there is no need for the machine working hours for in the process it is no use the machine. The businesses agro-processed products of corn starch will earn a profit of Rp 313,685.00 / day when production at its ultimate level of 94.3 kg to 46.4 kg of noodles for sago and sago rendang. A sensitivity analysis of the objective function coefficient values indicate that the noodles sago has a lower limit and an upper limit 1855.923 1162.238 then sago rendang has a lower limit value upper limit value 3008.625 and 4803.555.
