Abstract

This research is entitled Analysis of Counter Staff Communication in Serving Prospective Patient in Sukaraja Health Center, Logas Tanah Darat District Kuantan Singingi Regency. Communication is a very basic thing in human life. Such as employee communication counter in serving prospective patients, where there are still prospective patients who do not understand when the employee counter denies the flow of service to prospective patients so that the employee window will explain again so that prospectivi patients really understand. Communication is the first step to accept a process of interaction between several people. Communication also takes place as a way for people to build the reality of their lives. It does not consist of objects but the human response to an object or to every meaning contained in it. The type of researchers is a type of qualitative descriptive research. The result showed that communication went well, and here the researcher emphasized the employee communication window in serving prospective patients, namely the communication made by the ticket window counter with prospective patients. where the communication had ben going well, there were several things which caused obstacles in employee communication counters, namely the lack of communication (Telephone) devices in each room of service employees, and there are still prospective patients who do not understand the language used by the ticket window clerk, and the absence of a computer so that the patient must manually communicate the ticket window staff to serve prospective patients using discuss simple and convoluted things so that prospective patients are easy to understand what the ticket window clerk explains.
