Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between psychological well-being and job satisfaction among honorary teachers and civil servant teachers (ASN) in Mandau District, Duri. The technique used was quota sampling with a sample of 237 respondents. The measuring instrument used was a work satisfaction scale of 34 items and a psychological welfare scale of 54 items. The analysis used in this study is correlation analysis. Based on the statistical correlation analysis test showed that the positive correlation was to the teacher asn of 0.407 (p <0.05) and to the teacher honorary of 0.274 (p <0.05) . It is stated that the hypothesis is accepted, there is a positive relationship between psychological well-being with job satisfaction for honorary teachers and civil servant teachers (ASN) as much as 16.5% and for honorary teachers as much as 7,5%. showing the contribution of psychological well-being to job satisfaction. Therefore it is necessary for teachers to seek psychological well-being for themselves.
