Abstract

The purpose of this study was to compare the return and risk of investment in gold and Islamic stocks listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) during the pandemic Covid-19. This research was conducted on the basis of problems in investment activities in Indonesia. The research sample used purposive sampling with the research object of the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) January - October 2020. The sample used, Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF), United Tractors Tbk (UNTR), Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR). This study uses multiple linear regression models. The results show that there is no significant difference between the return and risk of investing in Islamic stocks and gold in companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index for the period January - October 2020.
